HKAL is a SANAS-accredited facility for chemical analysis under facility accreditation number T0232 and is accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

What accreditation means

ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation provides formal recognition of a laboratory’s technical competence for a defined scope and its operation of an appropriate quality-management system.

Scope clarification: Accreditation does not automatically apply to every analyte, method or matrix offered by a laboratory. The current scope is the controlling reference for the exact accredited activities of HKAL.

Quality at HKAL
